I couldn’t sleep last night because I know that it’s over between us. I’m not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I’ll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. Kara, obviously, suffers from downsyndrome. She always tells me how she doesn’t think she’s beautiful. She always tells me that she wants to be like the popular girls in the movies. This makes me feel so terrible. She is beautiful and she doesn’t need popularity to be it. Just because she has this illness doesn’t mean she isn’t an amazing person. She loves life. She is always laughing and being happy and I think she should be a role model to us all. I want everyone to see how beautiful she is. I want to show her off to the world. Life is amazing with you baby girl<3 I love you.
